John Whitaker
In my opinion the Equi-Trek Sonic is by far the best small horsebox available.
International show jumper John Whitaker began riding at the age of 6. Since then he has won many medals at World and European championships and represented Britain at the Olympics on several occasions. His most famous and successful partnerships have been with Ryan’s Son, Milton and Gammon. Milton being the first horse to have won $1,000,000 in prize money.
Oliver Townend
I looked at the market very carefully before I chose Equi-Trek, for me it was the obvious choice for quality, value and practicality.
One of Britain’s leading eventers, Oliver began riding at the age of 7, and at 13 he went on to represent Britain on the pony eventing team at the European Championships. Since then he has represented Britain at senior level at the 2005 European Championships at Blenheim and the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in 2006 as an individual. In 2007 he earned a place on the team at the European Championships in Pratoni where he won a team gold medal. In 2009 Oliver won back to back Badminton and Burghley titles, finishing the season at the top of the British Eventing points table.
Robert Smith
Harvey Smith’s oldest son was encouraged to follow in his father’s footsteps from the age of 6. He has since represented Britain in over 80 Nations Cup teams and came fourth individually at the 2004 Athens Olympics, riding Mr. Springfield. He has won back to back British Open Titles and won both the World Cup Qualifier and the Grand Prix at Olympia in 2005.
Lee Pearson
Lee Pearson is one of Britain’s most successful paralympic riders, his achievements include 3 gold medals at the Beijing Paralympics in 2008, 3 gold medals at the Athens Paralympics in 2004 and 3 gold medals at the 2000 Sydney Paralympics. He has also won and been placed in many abled body competitions including being the first disabled rider to win a national championship title.
Michael Whitaker
Michael Whitaker was taught to ride from an early age by his mother. At the age of 20 he became the youngest winner of the Hickstead Derby, which he has since won a further 3 times. He is a regular member of Britain’s Nations Cup Teams, which he has appeared over 100 times. His many achievements also include 3x European team gold medals, 1x individual silver and 5x Olympic team selections.
Peter Charles
Prior to the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, Peter took up his Mother’s Irish nationality, which led him to winning Ireland’s first equestrian gold medal for over 30 years at a European Championship. He was also a member of the winning team at 3 of the most prestigious Nations Cups during 1995, these were Aachen, Dublin and Spruce Meadows. He has also won 3 consecutive Hickstead Derbys in 2001, 2002 and 2003 with Corrada. In 2008 he changed his nationality back to British and he has since ridden on Britain’s Nations Cup teams.
